Situated
at the western end of Torrox Costa, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and
5 minutes from the beautiful promenade at Torrox Costa, this is a recently
built bright, modern third (top) floor apartment, with views of the sea and
mountains. The apartment has a communal swimming pool and lift, and is in a
peaceful location close to the seafront, restaurants and bars. There is plenty
of on street parking outside the apartment block.

The
apartment comprises;- open plan lounge /dining area with 3 seat sofa bed
(provides additional accommodation), gas heater, TV with Sky Digibox and Free
to View card (giving BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, plus
many others), CD/radio; modern, fully fitted kitchen with washing machine,
fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven and microwave; double bedroom and twin
bedroom (both with fitted wardrobe and bedside tables); bathroom and toilet;
sunny south-facing balcony with table and chairs; access to huge communal roof
terrace with 2 private sunbeds and fantastic views of sea and mountains.

The
apartment is fully equipped, with clean linen and towels provided weekly (beach
towels not provided).
Local Facilities
There are supermarkets, pharmacy, fish shop, butchers and newsagent all within a few minutes of the apartment which offer a wide range of goods in keeping with this area of Andalucia. There is also a small local market along the street and a bigger market on Mondays in Torrox Costa. There are numerous good restaurants and plenty of bars within easy walking distance. There is a telephone at the end of the street, Internet cafe, and bus stop with a good service to Nerja, Torre del Mar and Malaga. The beach is sandy and ideal for families. Scuba diving is also available within walking distance at El Morche.
Places of Interest
Torrox
-
a typical Spanish “white village” with winding flower-lined streets and shaded
squares dating back to Moorish times. The attractive main square is lined with
orange trees and contains a number of typical bars and restaurants.
Nerja
- a lovely Spanish seaside town which enjoys a privileged year-round
climate and fantastic mountainous surroundings, with spectacular cliffs and
golden beaches.
- wide range of restaurants,
bars and interesting shops, 5 beaches (all clean and safe), all within walking
distance of the apartment.

the famous Nerja caves are accessible by bus or 5 minutes by car.

there are traditional street markets in the town on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Malaga
-
a vibrant city with great shopping; interesting museums and historical sights,
e.g. the Pablo Picasso Museum, the Alcazar fort; fascinating Moorish quarter
with winding streets and traditional tapas bars; horse-drawn sight-seeing
tours
Further
afield
- Granada, with it’s
famous Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada ski resort can be visited by coach
or car , some 1.5 hrs from Nerja.
- Cordoba is about 2.5
hrs drive but also feasible for a day trip and well worth a visit.
Outoor activities

for visitors interested in walking or wildlife, there are a wide range of
beautiful local walks into the surrounding hills and villages. Further details

golf is available at 3 courses, each within 30 mins drive.

water sports can be enjoyed at Marina del Este, some 20 minutes by car from
Nerja, including scuba diving (equipment hire available).

mountain bike tours and 4 Wheel drive excursions into the mountains are further
possibilities.
Getting there
Torrox
Costa is about 45 minutes by car from Malaga Airport on the E15/ N340 motorway,
and can also be reached by bus (with changes at Malaga). Depending on
availablility, a ‘pick up’ service may be available on request from 40 Euros
each way. Taxis are available from the airport, cost typically 60 Euros each
way.
Arrangements
can be made for car hire, starting at about £70 per week for a small family car
– further details on request.
Terms and Conditions
Lettings
are from Sunday to Sunday. The apartment is available from 15.00hrs on day of
arrival and should be vacated by 11.00hrs on day of departure.
A
30% deposit is requested on receipt of booking form, with the balance (plus £50
security deposit, refundable on return of keys) payable 4 weeks before arrival
date. These sums are non-returnable in
the event of any cancellation of the booking by you.
